Armed Forces Extinguishes a Fire near Kladovo

Last night a XT-40 helicopter of the 98th Air Force Brigade of Serbian Armed Forces was engaged on extinguishing the fire in the area of village Urovica, between Kladovo and Negotin.
Upon request of the Sector for Emergency Management of the Ministry of Interior, and pursuant to decision of Minister Aleksandar Vulin on the engagement of Serbian Armed Forces for the purpose of providing assistance in extinguishing a fire, last night a XT-40 helicopter of the 98th Air Force Brigade of Serbian Armed Forces was engaged on extinguishing the fire in the area of village Urovica, between Kladovo and Negotin.
Using a helicopter bucket, the helicopter ejected eight water bombs with more than 16,000 litres of water over the area caught by the fire.
After terrain survey, which was conducted by the members of AF and AD early this morning, it was established that it was required to continue extinguishing the fire.
The fire broke out two days ago, and the firefighting teams from Kladovo, Negotin and surrounding towns are participating in the action of putting out the fire.
