The ceremony was attended by Ms Biljana Babic, Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Brigadier General Zelimir Glisovic, Commander of the Third Army Brigade, Nebojsa Nikolic, President of the Higher Military Disciplinary Court in Belgrade and other guests.

Ms Biljana Babic, Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, recalled in her speech the constellation of members of the Legal Department and indicated that Judge Advocate General is to be re-introduced, as the legal representative of the Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, and Colonel Nebojsa Nikolic pointed out the importance of legal services for the military discipline, and therefore the operational and functional capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces.

A 15-minute film on the history of legal services from 1839 to 2014, which was directed by Captain Velimir Stojanovic according to the screenplay by Lieutenant Dragan Markovic, drew special attention of the guests in the ceremony.
