Visit to 3rd Army Brigade Units

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Miloš Vučević and Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, have visited the 3rd Army Brigade units in Kuršumlija today. 

Colonel Dragan Antić, 3rd Brigade Commander, briefed the Minister of Defence and Chief of the General Staff on the situation in the AOR and state of affairs in the unit, which preceded the presentation of some capabilities of the infantry, mechanized and MP units. 

Having attended the demonstration of skills and conversed with officers and soldiers, Minister Vučević claimed that Serbia was peaceful and safe as long as it had such powerful armed forces ready to perform any task assigned by the Supreme Commander. 

— Together with Chief of the General Staff General Mojsilović and other Serbian Armed Forces’ officers, we are paying a visit to the Kuršumlija Garrison in the heroic Toplica District to inspect the state of affairs in the units deployed here, our soldiers’, NCOs’ and officers’ morale, state of the equipment and weapons – stated Minister Vučević.

He pointed out that this had been an opportunity to exchange views in a direct conversation regarding the plans for the forthcoming period, in compliance with orders issued by the state leadership.

— From this very place, I could send an outspoken message that the Serbian Armed Forces are prepared to perform any task assigned by the state, by the President of the Republic as the Supreme Commander, preserving the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country – declared Vučević stressing that the Armed Forces represent the greatest guardian and protector of freedom of all citizens of Serbia.
