Today, members of SAF Air Force and Air Defense have taken part in an air show at the “Stenkovec” Airport near Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia, on the occasion of marking a centenary of the establishment of Aero Club “Skopje” and centenary of aviation in that country.

There were two multi-purpose fighter planes MiG-29 and a training plane “Swallow” of the Serbian Armed Forces that participated in the dynamic display, while the visitors could also see the multi-purpose helicopter H-145M.

Having arrived from the Military Airfield “Sergeant-Pilot Mihajlo Petrović” in Niš, the SAF MiG planes presented themselves by performing some of the horizontal, oblique and vertical planes maneuvers in pairs at maximum acceleration to the audience that watched in amazement, welcoming these guardians of the Serbian sky with a round of applause.

This was also the first time that SAF MiG-29 planes had participated in an international event of this kind.
The “Swallow” crew demonstrated some maneuver capabilities of this training aircraft which is an important link in training SAF pilots.

There were about 30 aircraft of different purposes that participated in the dynamic part of the program and more than 40 aircraft that took part in the static one at today's flying holiday in Skopje.
