Meeting with Ambassador of Cyprus to Belgrade

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović has met today with Ambassador of Cyprus to the Republic of Serbia His Excellency Demetrios Theophylactou.
The discussion at the meeting held at the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff covered the current politico-security situation in the region and the prospects of development of bilateral military cooperation.
The commitment to developing further the cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the National Guard of the Republic of Cyprus has been confirmed in the conversation, with the assessment that military cooperation represents an important part of the overall relations of the two countries, which have always been characterized by closeness and friendship throughout history.
This has been the occasion for General Mojsilović to express his gratitude to Ambassador Theophylactou for the strong support the Republic of Cyprus gives to our country not only with respect to the preservation of territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia, but also the European Union integration process.
