Tour of Serbian Armed Forces Units in Ground Safety Zone

Representatives of the Security Services Control Committee and the Committee on Defense and Internal Affairs of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia visited the Serbian Armed Forces units in Raška and the Ground Safety Zone today.
The visit was conducted within the regular activities of these permanent working bodies of the National Assembly, which within their scope, among other things, consider issues related to the exercise of parliamentary control of the Serbian Armed Forces and the defense system, i.e. supervise the constitutionality and legality of the work of the security services.
During the tour of the Serbian Armed Forces units, Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović, informed the MPs about the current security situation and the way of securing the administrative line towards the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, and they were able to talk with soldiers and commanders of the Second Army Brigade who perform tasks at the base "Rudnica".
