New Class of Commissioned Officers Admitted to SAF Units

Today, SAF commands, units and establishments have admitted second lieutenants who assumed their first officer rank by Decree of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and President of the Republic two days ago.
Commanders and heads of operational components, departments and units received the young officers and wished them a welcome to the Serbian Armed Forces. They congratulated them on completing their education successfully and briefed them on the organization, missions and tasks of the components they command.
The second lieutenants are now to be acquainted with their units’ military personnel, obligations and tasks performed on their initial officers’ duties, where they will be in a position to apply and broaden the knowledge they have gained at the Military Academy.
Ceremonial receptions for the youngest second lieutenants were held in the Commands of the Army, Air Force and Air Defence, Training Command and Guard, and in the Directorates of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff which have subordinate components.
