March 2023 Class Undergoes Evaluation

This week, soldiers performing voluntary military service since March 2023 have gone through their individual skills assessment at the SAF Basic Training Centres in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
Over the past six weeks, they have been trained theoretically and practically in handling different types of infantry weapons; they have mastered basic tactics for soldiers in battle, executed all scheduled firing and passed successfully the physical fitness test.
On the first day of the final individual skills exam, soldiers were practically solving the problems from tactical training, while on the second day they showed skills, aptitude and knowledge of the use of materiel, close-order drills and SAF Service Regulations.
Soldiers of this class also have scored very good and excellent results, showing that that they are ready for the next training phase which begins after their transfer to the Specialist Training Centres. At this centres, they will be trained for their branch / service-specific specialties they were recruited for, and then posted to SAF units until their military service is over.
