Expert Talks in the Field of Aviation Medicine

This week, a EUCOM delegation has paid an official visit to our Air Force and Air Defence to exchange experience in the field of aviation medicine.
During the visit, the Serbian Armed Forces and U.S. Armed Forces experts discussed the aviation medicine’s key areas relevant to flight safety and considered the possibilities of continuing the cooperation between expert medical services of the two countries’ air force.
Professional experience has been exchanged regarding the air force pilots’ selection process, application of the latest knowledge about aviation psychology and implementation of training programs using the specific aviation medical equipment for physiological training and pilot training.
The expert talks are part of a wider cooperation between SAF Air Force and U.S. Air Force aiming to exchange experience, improve flight safety and strengthen the overall capabilities to conduct air force operations.
