Visit by Chief of Defense Staff of Bulgarian Armed Forces

At the invitation of Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of Defense Staff of the Bulgarian Armed Forces Admiral Emil Eftimov is paying an official visit to our country with a delegation.
Today, Admiral Eftimov has visited the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, where he discussed with General Mojsilović the current security situation in the region and the world, defense cooperation so far and possibilities of its further improvement.
During the conversation, mutual satisfaction has been expressed with the achieved level of military-military cooperation, primarily in the field of training of Air Force and Air Defense of the two countries. In this sense, it has been assessed that the execution of live firing against aerial targets at the “Shabla” Training Ground represents the best example of military-military cooperation activities that improve the operational capabilities of the Serbian and Bulgarian Armed Forces.
Today, Admiral Eftimov will visit the Military Academy and the Military Medical Academy in Belgrade, where he will be presented with the capacities and scope of work of these institutions.
Such high-level meetings are motivation for enhancing further defense cooperation and strengthening the overall interstate and good-neighborly relations.
