Simulation Training Centre
Simulation Training Centre is a unit directly subordinated to the Training and Doctrine Directorate of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff. Main role of the Centre is all-service training of commands of all branches and services in the Serbian Armed Forces, through real time exercises in accordance with previously developed scenarios and the exercise simulation models.
Simulation Training Centre consists of the Simulation Model Section and the Support Section.
Tasks of the Simulation Training Centre
Simulation Training Centre is tasked with:
- Improving unit command readiness in planning and conducting operations and military decision making,
- Evaluating unit commands,
- Pre-deployment unit commands preparations,
- Assessment of doctrinal solutions and future operations plans
The mission of the Simulation Training Centre is an improvement of the Serbian Armed Forces unit commands preparedness by using simulation models and IT in planning and conducting operations in full range according to valid doctrines and adopted staff procedures in the military decision-making process.
