Belgrade Brigade
The Belgrade Brigade is intended to provide the initial conditions for the
mobilization, growth, training and reaching the operational capabilities
of this territorial brigade according to the war formation.
It is located in garrison Belgrade, in the barracks "Major Milan Tepić" in Jakovo.
Belgrade Brigade comprises HQ, HQ Company and Logistic Company.
Colonel Milomir Rajić is the Commander of the Belgrade Brigade.
Taks of the Belgrade brigade
Belgrade Brigade performs the following tasks:
- Preparation for mobilization of war units,
- Training of the command and war units,
- Training and practice of temporary groupings engaged in accordance with the order for measures taken when on standby,
- Protection of facilities, people and movable goods,
- Logistic support.
Traditions of the Belgrade Brigade
Through reorganization of 3rd Training Centre on July 11, 2011 was established the unit named Command for Deployment of the Belgrade Brigade. Day of the Units is celebrated on November 1, in remembrance of the glorious defenders of Belgrade.
After the renaming, the Command for Development of the Belgrade Brigade has been officially named the Belgrade Brigade since January 1, 2022.
