PLA Officers Training in CBRN Centre

The Radiological and Chemical Live Agent Training of CBRN officers of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army has been conducted in the Serbian Armed Forces CBRN Centre in Kruševac and the “Vinča” Institute for Nuclear Sciences.
Fifteen officers of Chinese land forces and navy attended the five-day practice, and two officers of the Institute of Chemical Defence in Beijing were present as observers.
The Chinese officers were practising the use of detection and dosimetry tools as well as the procedures applied in the field of radiation dosimetry and protection, radiation safety and security and radiological and chemical decontamination.
CBRN Centre instructors and experts from Laboratory for Physical Chemistry and Radiation Protection Laboratory of the “Vinča” Institute trained the trainees to work in conditions of radioactive and chemical contamination.
