Serbian Armed Forces NCO Candidates Undergo Specialist Training

Specialist training for civilian candidates who are preparing for admission to professional military service as the Serbian Armed Forces’ non-commissioned officers is in progress at the Training Command Centers.
These candidates are participants in the 1st NCO Course, consisting of four modules and lasting nine months, which has been conducted since last October as a new model of initial NCO training in the Serbian Armed Forces’ units.
The third training module is now underway, during which candidates are being trained to perform branch / service-specific duties. Previously, during the first two modules, they acquired basic military knowledge and abilities needed to command a group, team and squad.
In the final training stage, candidates will do internship in the Serbian Armed Forces’ units, in accordance with the positions for which they applied, and then they will have the opportunity to perform the role of squad commanders and deputy squad commanders. Those who complete successfully that module will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and will join the ranks of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Young men and women, willing to become Serbian Armed Forces’ NCOs in this way, possessing four-year secondary education or attending their final year of high school, can apply for it now, to the competition which is open until the end of the month.
