Specialist Training of Soldiers on Military Service

The execution of individual specialist training of soldiers performing military service since March 2024 is underway at the Serbian Armed Forces’ training centers.
The goal of training in this phase, which comes after individual basic training, is practical training of soldiers for military occupational specialties for which they were recruited, that is, for carrying out branch / service – specific tasks.
In this segment of individual training — in study rooms, at training grounds and in field conditions — soldiers train as crews for different types of collective weapons and acquire knowledge and skills for the specialties of logistics, telecommunications and CBRN services.
The specialist training of this class of soldiers ends in late June, when they will undergo individual skills assessment. This is followed by collective training and active involvement in the life and work of the Serbian Armed Forces’ units.
During this period time, soldiers can apply for admission to professional military service, go through the necessary procedure and thus meet the requirements to join the ranks of professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces immediately after completing their military service.
