Friday, 30.7.2021 | Training
The members of the short range Air Defence (AD) artillery-missile units of the Army conducted regular training shooting at targets in the airspace at the "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" Military Airfield in Batajnica.

The shooting was executed from the AD light portable missile system 9K32M S-2M known as "Strela 2M", within the joint training activities of all AD artillery-missile battalions of the Army.

The conduct of training shooting is an important step in preparation of the AD artillery-missile units for live firing at targets in the airspace, during which, in addition to the evaluation of military equipment maintenance, the competence of individuals and combat crews for operating the system and carrying out the assigned tasks is improved.

Control training shooting followed by live firing at targets in the airspace awaits the members of the Army artillery-missile units at the "Pasuljanske livade" range, when their competence will be evaluated in practice.
