Stationary Camping of Soldiers Doing Their Military Service

At the Peskovi military complex near Požarevac, stationary camping of soldiers who joined the Serbian Armed Forces in September to do their military service is underway.

During the camping, soldiers of the infantry specialty are trained for combat use of infantry and anti-personnel small arms and light weapons, and practise offensive and defensive actions and procedures in day and night conditions, proper use of camouflage means, combat movement and shelters’ making. The training program also includes live fire practices.

The goal of training in field conditions is to train soldiers to acquire knowledge and skills for rapid and proper reaction in the application of tactical actions, obstacles’ overcoming and solving fire tasks in defense and attack.

After the return from the camping, the final part of the individual specialized training will follow on– soldiers’ evaluation, when the training level for realization of certain tasks of this generation of soldiers will be checked. The soldiers who successfully pass the evaluation will continue their military service in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
