The Awarding of Military Memorials to Members of 125 Motorized Brigade

Active and retired members of the former heroic 125 Motorized Brigade and members of the families of the members of the unit who were killed received military memorials today at the “Car Lazar” barracks in Kruševac on the occasion of marking 20 years of defense against the NATO aggression against the FRY.

In the presence of numerous guests, military memorials were presented by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Major General Petar Cvetković, former Commander of the Heroic Brigade, Lieutenant General Dragan Živanović and Colonels Nikola Dejanović and Rade Rnjaković from the Training Command.

During the 78 days of the NATO aggression, 98 members of the brigade were killed and 387 were wounded.

For the contribution to the defense of the homeland, heroism and self-sacrifice, 125 Motorized Brigade was decorated with the Order of the People’s Hero.
