01/17/2014 | Multinational Operations Serbian Autonomous Vessel Protection Detachment (AVPD), which is currently operating as part of the European Union Naval Force providing close protection to the World Food Programme (WFP) aid ship, MV Caroline Scan, carried out a firing exercise on board. The exercise, which took place as MV Caroline Scan was enroute from Bossasso to Djibouti, having just delivered humanitarian aid to the Somali people, was a good opportunity for the Serbian protection forces to improve yours fire training.

12/03/2013 | Multinational Operations The ceremony in the port of Djibouti, yesterday marked transfer of duties of autonomous vessel protection detachments to protect ships in the mission Atalanta. Serbian autonomous team took over securing of the ship "Caroline Scan" of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Special Brigade, Brigadier General Ilija Todorov and Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre, Colonel Milivoje Pajović.
