Basic Training of Soldiers on Military Service

Individual training of soldiers on voluntary military service of the "September 2021" generation is underway in the training centers in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
During this period, soldiers are trained to use infantry weapons and equipment and undergo content from tactical, close-order drill and the Rules of Service of the Serbian Armed Forces, with a constant increase in the level of physical ability and endurance.
Upon completion of training in the basic training centers, soldiers are expected to be tested for their ability to perform individual military tasks, and those who successfully master all standards will be referred to specialist training for their military specialties.
Military service lasts six months and includes three months of basic and specialist training in the units of the Training Command, after which the soldiers are sent to collective training and active involvement in the life and work of units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
