Beginning of Training of Soldiers for Military Service

Training of soldiers on voluntary military service who joined the Serbian Armed Forces earlier this month officially began today in the training centers in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
The soldiers previously went through a period of adjustment, got acquainted with the basic rules of life and work in the Serbian Armed Forces, they were given personal weapons and got prepared for the start of intensive training.
Over the next five weeks, the young soldiers will undergo basic training in handling personal weapons and performing basic tactical actions and procedures in combat, they will master the contents of the close-order drill and the Rules of Service and will significantly improve their physical abilities.
Upon completion of basic training, soldiers will be deployed in specialist training centers, where they will be trained for specialties within the branches and services, and then they will master the contents of collective training and be actively involved in everyday tasks in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces, until the end of military service.
