Training Camp for Participants of Basic Course for NCOs

At the military complex "Peskovi" near Požarevac, a training camp for the participants of the 18th class of the Basic Course for non-commissioned officers is under way.
In the course so far officers, on training fields, in classrooms and on ranges, have gained knowledge from the module „Means and equipment“, passed physical and firearms training and gained skills to command a group, team and section.
During the training, future NCOs have conducted live shooting, drilled procedures and processes in commanding sections during tactical exercises such as moving around an unknown terrain, land orientation and overcoming various obstacles. The aim of the training is to acquire necessary military-professional knowledge and skills for efficient and safe commanding tactical units of the rank of the section.
The participants of the Basic course for non-commissioned officers are going to take a final exam and write a thesis, and then they will have a working practice in SAF units. Those who successfully complete the Basic course for non-commissioned Officers will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and assigned to the corresponding non-commissioned officer duties in the units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
