In the conversation, mutual commitment to preserving peace and stability was expressed and the importance of contacts at all levels between the Serbian Armed Forces and international forces in Kosovo and Metohija for successful preventive action and prevention of crises in the territory of the southern Serbian province was pointed out.

The Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, speaking about the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija, which he assessed as unstable and unpredictable, has pointed out that KFOR, as the only legitimate security actor in the Province, is expected to monitor the situation on the ground and be the first responder to any attempt at threatening the security of Serbian population and our cultural, historical and religious heritage.

General Mojsilović has reminded of a series of unilateral and provocative actions undertaken by the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina and assessed that such actions are contrary to the efforts made by the Republic of Serbia to deescalate the situation on the ground.
