Specialized Training for Air Defence Artillery Soldiers

Soldiers of the air defence artillery branch, performing their military service since March this year, are currently receiving specialized training at the Air Force and Air Defence Training Centre.

At this centre located at Airfield "Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica, soldiers specialize in performing the duties of crews and operators of "Bofors L/70" anti-aircraft guns and "Kub-M" air defence missile systems.

During the six-week theoretical and practical training, soldiers learn how to carry out combat missions as crews of anti-aircraft guns and missile systems, they master the tactics of employment of these air defence weapons as well as operating them and maintaining their assemblies and systems.

Upon completion of specialized training, soldiers continue with their military service as part of the Air Force and Air Defence units so as to be trained in executing collective branch-specific assignments actively involved in the life and work of their units.
