Friday, 9.7.2021 | Training
International tactical exercise called "Falcon 21", organized by the 63rd Parachute Brigade is being conducted this week in the wider region of the military airfield "Sergeant Pilot Mihajlo Petrović".

This is parachute units’ exercise where, apart from the host from the 63rd Parachute Brigade, there are participants from the Hellenic Armed Forces and Cyprus National Guard.

By conducting parachute jumps in day and night conditions, with combat equipment and weapons and using navigation devices, during exercise, paratroopers improve their skills for conducting Special Forces activities.
Jumps are conducted from ‘wing’ parachutes, by applying techniques like high altitude – high opening and high altitude – low opening.

The goal of joint exercise activities is improving training and interoperability of parachute units during conducting operations at tactical level and promoting cooperation and overall relations of partner countries.
