Regular training of combat personnel for actions in the air defense operation is ongoing at the locations of the peacetime deployment of self-propelled missile battalions for anti-aircraft operations.

The training includes practicing combat work on "Kub" missile systems and basic technical maintenance, and is carried out in order to improve the anti-aircraft defense capabilities of the Serbian Armed Forces, important facilities and areas from airspace operations.

In this training cycle, the combat crews go through all the contents of the tactics of using and maintaining the "Kub" missile system, and the primary training is to take a firing position, bring the battery into readiness for action and procedures during the immediate preparation and execution of firing. There is also an evaluation of the training of combat crews to perform tasks in accordance with the defined time norms, which ensure adequate reaction speed and successful destruction of targets in the air.

The self-propelled missile battalions of the 250th anti-aircraft missile brigade are armed with "Kub" missile systems. This system is intended for the destruction of targets in the airspace flying at low and medium altitudes, and is characterized by high mobility and the possibility of centralized command and control of fire.
