In the village of Brezjak near Loznica, members of the First Army Brigade, in cooperation with the Red Cross, the local health center and the city administration, conducted the action „Military doctor in village“ today.

As part of the action, which aims to provide medical assistance to the population with difficult access to the health care system, preventive health examinations were performed in a rural clinic, while a medical team of the Serbian Armed Forces visited the elderly and immobile persons. Packages with groceries and household chemicals for socially vulnerable locals, provided by the Red Cross, were also distributed.

Military doctors and technicians were warmly received by the local population, who once again expressed their great gratitude to the Serbian Armed Forces for providing them with assistance whenever needed.

The Serbian Armed Forces have previously helped residents of remote villages in the area of the City of Loznica, as well as in other parts of the Republic of Serbia, and will continue to implement civil-military cooperation projects, which aim to strengthen cooperation and help the local population.
