Thursday, 2.2.2023 | Training
Regular operations are underway of training members of the Air Force and Air Defence to perform flight tasks on Mi-35 and "gamma" helicopters at the military airport "Morava" and in the wider region of Kraljevo.

The training is part of the planned activity conducted in cycles throughout the year in order to maintain and raise the level of skills of flying crews for combat use of these helicopters.

During this period, pilots practice techniques and procedures during the group flying at low altitudes, landing and taking off on unsecured terrain, as well as reconnaissance and terrain searches in favorable conditions and conditions of reduced visibility, gusts of wind and rain, which make it difficult to perform tasks. The technical staff of the helicopter squadron is actively involved in the flight training process, performing specialist technical inspections of the aircraft, checking the functionality of engines, radio-navigation equipment and weapons.

Constant training on the Mi-35 and "gamma" helicopters ensures high-quality training of the professional component and readiness to provide aviation fire support to the Army forces in the execution of operations, as well as for execution of tasks of reconnaissance and transport by air.
