Members of the Army artillery battalions carried out live fires from the modernized and new artillery systems that were recently introduced into the armament of the Serbian Armed Forces at the "Pasuljanske livade" training area.

It is the final segment of the months-long training of the professional component of artillery divisions to provide fire support to maneuver units in offensive and defensive operations of the Army.

During the intensive activities at the training area, the combat actions and procedures of the self-propelled howitzers 155 mm B-52 M-15 "Nora", self-propelled multiple rocket launchers 128 mm M-77 "Oganj" and self-propelled howitzers 122 mm 2S1 "Gvozdika" were practiced. After the training came live fire, during which their ability to perform specific tasks was evaluated in practice.

The excellent results achieved during the implementation of live fire speak best of the quality of training, but also of the reliability of these artillery tools, which after modernization have greater firepower, speed and accuracy of shooting and achieve a greater effect on the target by simultaneous strikes of several projectiles.

The equipping of the Serbian Armed Forces with modern artillery systems and the modernization of the existing ones significantly improved the capabilities of this branch of the Serbian Armed Forces for the realization of sudden, fast and precise artillery fire on targets of tactical, operational and strategic importance at long distances.
