Military Holidays Marked

There have been military ceremonies in the Serbian Armed Forces today marking the Day of the 3rd Army Brigade and Day of the 3rd Training Centre.

Day of the 3rd Army Brigade was marked in Niš in memory of 07 October 1912, when the 2nd Infantry Regiment (I line), Morava Division "Knjaz Mihajlo", widely known as "Тhe Iron Regiment", started its engagement in the 1st Balkan War. The holiday was an opportunity to summarize working results in the recent period and present awards to the most distinguished individuals in front of a ceremonial parade of the Brigade members.
 
Looking back on the achieved results, it has been pointed out how professional, committed and competent the 3rd Army Brigade members are while performing all the tasks assigned to them in their Area of Responsibility, giving full contribution to preserving the security and stability in this part of our country.

There was a military ceremony at "Field Marshal Petar Bojović" Barracks in Leskovac on the occasion of the Day of the 3rd Training Centre, in memory of 07 October 1918 when the Serbian army liberated Leskovac.

At the ceremony, the most successful individuals received recognitions, wreaths were laid at the Barracks' memorial and the unit's working results summarized; the present were reminded of the fact that in the period between the two holidays the Centrе successfully carried out the basic training of four classes of soldiers performing military service as well as numerous advancement programs for SAF service personnel.
