Football game between the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR

At the grand football field of “Jug” Military Base near Bujanovac, a friendly football game between the teams of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR was held today. The game was attended by General Ljubisa Dikovic, Head of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, KFOR Commander Major Genreal Salvatore Farina, their associates and members of the Fourth Brigade of the Serbian Army.

At the grand football field of “Jug” Military Base near Bujanovac, a friendly football game between the teams of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR was held today.

The game was attended by General Ljubisa Dikovic, Head of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, KFOR Commander Major Genreal Salvatore Farina, their associates and members of the Fourth Brigade of the Serbian Army. The team of the Serbian Armed Forces comprised of senior staff and soldiers of the Fourth Brigade, while the KFOR team comprised of members of the Armed Forces of Italy and Slovenia from the formation of the Multinational Group “The East”.

The audience clapped for every successful move by players from both teams, and the game ran in fair play. The game ended with a score of 3:1 for the team of the Serbian Armed Forces.

– This is the second time a game like this has been organized after the meeting of KFOR Commander and Head of the General Staff. I hope that review games will become a tradition and serve as an indicator of the good cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR – Captain Sasa Bozilovic, the team captain of the Serbian Armed Forces said.

At the end of the game, KFOR players gave the audience a team greeting, and the audience, consisting mostly of members of the Fourth Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces, responded with a massive applause.
