Chief of Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Meets KFOR Commander

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has met today in Belgrade with KFOR Commander, Major General Ferenc Kajari.

The discussion at the meeting covered the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and execution of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR joint activities aimed to preserve and promote peace and security in our southern province.

Referring to United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 and Military Technical Agreement, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff took this opportunity once again to point out that, for the security of people in Kosovo and Metohija, freedom of movement and protection of Serbian national, cultural, historical and religious heritage, KFOR is responsible as the only legitimate security actor in the province.

General Kajari visited Belgrade upon invitation from Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, and such high-level meetings contribute towards enhancement of the overall security situation on the ground and safety of our population in Kosovo and Metohija.
