Specialist Training of Reconnaissance Specialty Soldiers

Soldiers serving in the "December 2021" class, who are being trained in reconnaissance specialties at the Army Training Centre, are undergoing intensive training at the "Peskovi" training ground and at the "General Pavle Jurišić Šturm" barracks in Požarevac.
This is a specialist phase of scout training, during which, for ten weeks, they are trained to collect intelligence and perform special operations in the depths of the enemy's formation within scout groups and teams.
In the field, soldiers practice actions, procedures and moves when observing the battlefield and collecting data, are trained to orient and navigate the map on unknown terrain, perform exercises with live mines-explosive devices and targeting from infantry weapons.
Scout training is diverse and complex, so soldiers who are characterized by high motivation, excellent psychophysical preparation and mental stability are chosen for this specialty. The results achieved so far in the training show that this generation of soldiers on military service will be a good base for the selection of professional soldiers in the Serbian Armed Forces reconnaissance units.
