Tactical Training of SAF Reconnaissance Units

Members of the Army brigades’ reconnaissance units have been conducting tactical training in field conditions over the last few days.
These are regular training activities intended to sustain a high level of competence of reconnaissance bodies in undertaking actions and performing tasks deep within enemy lines.
In different tactical conditions, weather and terrain, the scouts practiced organizing raids, ambushes and reconnaissance patrols, as well as collecting intelligence data about the enemy and situation on the ground, with the use of modern means of observation.
During the training activity, the work of scouting bodies, knowledge and application of tactical actions and procedures, motivation and general psychophysical preparedness of soldiers and officers were monitored and evaluated.
The implementation of training, which represents only one segment of continuous and complex scout training, improved further the capabilities of the Army reconnaissance units to implement the tasks of providing intelligence to forces on operation.
