Visiting a Part of the Serbian Armed Forces Units in Niš Garrison

During his visit to the Army Command, the Army Commander, Lieutenant General Milosav Simović, briefed the Minister of Defence on main tasks of this operational composition of the Serbian Armed Forces and plans for the next period.
At the military airport “Sergeant Pilot Mihajlo Petrović”, Commander of the 63rd Parachute Brigade, Colonel Zonić, briefed Minister of Defence on this unit’s purpose, tasks and current engagements. During his visit, the Minister of Defence attended the presentation of a part of this unit's capabilities.
Minister Stefanović stressed that the improvement of the living standard of members of the Serbian Armed Forces and equipping of units with modern weapons and military equipment will continue in the forthcoming period, as well. He pointed out that it is very important that members of the Serbian Armed Forces feel that their country is always there for them, that it takes care of their standard and equipment, and that they should show, through their work and sacrifice, that they are truly there for their people and Serbia.
