The Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, visited the members of the 63rd Parachute Brigade at the "Sergeant-Pilot Mihajlo Petrović" military airport in Niš, where they attended parachute training today.

The Commander of the 63rd Parachute Brigade, Colonel Nenad Zonić, briefed Minister Vulin and General Mojsilović about the advanced parachute training in that brigade during the tour of the parachute hangar, after which they watched the landing of paratroopers from AN-26 aircraft and jumps with airborne troop parachutes and special parachutes.

Minister Vulin pointed out that the 63rd Parachute Brigade is one of the most elite units of our armed forces, whose members, even during the state of emergency, not only performed the assigned tasks, but also constantly prepared and trained.

— We attend the most advanced level of parachute training and we can see that all these men are prepared, confident and competent, equipped and capable of performing any task that is set before them. Thanks to the decision of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces and his order, the 63rd Paratrooper Brigade is again a brigade and we expect that we will complete the process of its transformation very soon, which both the armed forces and Serbia will be proud of — Minister Vulin emphasized.

During the visit advanced parachute training was demonstrated, as well as ground training in the parachute hangar, and the execution of parachute jumps with an airborne troop parachute from an altitude of 600 meters.
