Visit to Army Training Centre

Deputy Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Lieutenant General Želimir Glišović visited the Army Training Centre at the “General Pavle Jurišić Sturm” Barracks in Požarevac today.
Accompanied by the Commander of the Centre, he had a direct insight into the situation in the unit and the implementation of the most important tasks, and he attended part of the training of NCOs, professional soldiers and soldiers on military service.
During the tour, he was also shown the study rooms, modern teaching devices, trainers and training grounds for specialist training of all categories of permanent and reserve members of the Serbian Armed Forces for the branches such as infantry, artillery, armored units and engineer corps.
Today's tour was also attended by Major General Željko Petrović, Commander of the Training Command, and Brigadier General Dragan Arsenijević, Head of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Affairs Directorate (J-2) of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff.
