Participation in Military Orchestra Festival in Hungary

The Niš Military Orchestra, Army, participated in the 21st International Festival of Military Orchestras, which took place last week in the Hungarian city of Debrecen.

Apart from three military orchestras from Hungary, the host country, there were other orchestras as well from the armed forces of Austria, Slovakia, Serbia and the Czech Republic which participated in this traditional music festival this year. 

During this year's show at Kossuth Square and Pönix Hall in Debrecen, members of the Niš Military Orchestra presented themselves to the audience by performing the compositions such as "Alexander I", "Milan Obrenović", "March on the Drina" and "March of 1,300 Corporals". 

Through their successful participation in the International Festival of Military Orchestras in Debrecen, held traditionally since 1977, members of the military orchestra, which forms part of the Army, provided an international presentation of the SAF musical service and Serbian national and military music in the best possible way.
