Serbian Tankmen Infallible at Firing

Since the opening of the International Military Games, the members of Serbian Armed Forces have been achieving notable results at the International Military Games in the Russian Federation.

Since the opening of the International Military Games on Saturday, the members of Serbian Armed Forces have been achieving notable results at the International Military Games in the Russian Federation. At this year’s military games, our teams are competing in two disciplines – Tank Biathlon and Field Kitchen.
 
Tankcrewsfrom 19 countries participate in the tank biathlon.
 
The first phase of the competition is currently in progress and it includes individual races and competing of the tank crews. The team of Serbian Armed Forces is competing against the teams from Russian Federation and Kirghzia, and each team participates with three tank crews. The semi-finalists are determined by adding the scores from the first phase of the competition.
 
During yesterday’s appearance of the second SAF crew, our tankmen hit all five targets, which made them and the crew of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation the only two crews which succeeded in that. Thefightforthesemi-finals is going to be continued on Sunday 6th August when the third crew of our military team will appear.
 
In the second semi-final phase of the competition, 12 teams will compete in the so called “relay” which is going to take place from 8th to 10th August. The best four teams in this phase go to the final that is going to be held on 12th August, the day of closing the International Military Games.
 
Along with the noted performance of the tankmen, the SAF team lead by Lieutenant Colonel MiroslavJovanović competes for the first time in the discipline “Field Kitchen” with six more participating countries.
 
This competition discipline is carried out in five phases, and apart from the preparation of dishes, the cooks are to demonstrate their skills in handling weapons.
 
The success achieved so far is reconfirmed by the news that Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoygu and the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Moscow, SlavenkoTerzić, visited the stand of the competitors from Serbian Armed Forces.
