VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN IN “ALEKSANDAR BERIC” BARRACKS

The members of the Riverine and the members of the Novi Sad branch of the humanitarian society of railway workers of Serbia “Kostadin Veselinovic Kosta” took part in a voluntary blood donation campaign.
The members of the Riverine and the members of the Novi Sad branch of the humanitarian society of railway workers of Serbia “Kostadin Veselinovic Kosta” took part in a voluntary blood donation campaign.
This campaign is part of the civil-military activity, and some 100 employees of the Serbian Railway from Ruma, Nis, Zajecar, Valjevo, Uzice, Novi Sad and other places across Serbia along with many SAF members, professional soldiers and the members of the Riverine gave 90 l of this most precious fluid.
In the words of Ladislav Kinka, a citizen of Novi Sad, one of the coordinator of this campaign, who is also a member of the reserve corps , thinks that this campaign is alos an opportunity for socializing with the members of SAF
We learned from doctor Marinka Ljubenov, the head of the medical team of the MMA Institute for Transfusiology, that this prestigious institution is providing services to all citizens and that this campaign is invaluable to all those in need of a blood transfusion. In addition that this is a sort of a social occasion, the blood donors had the opportunity to get advice about their state of health.
